Wedding Spotlight: Michelle + Pierre

Michelle reached out to me to get a little bit of extra help with her wedding at the Addison in Boca. She was going to be getting ready at the nearby Waterstone Resort and then heading to the Addison for ceremony and reception. She wanted a day of planner in south Florida to ensure that she was going to have a stress free day! We were a perfect fit for each other because we both are crazy Disney Adults!!

The day started at Waterstone Resort in a beautiful suite that overlooked the intercoastal. Pierre (the groom) asked me to stop and pick up a floral arrangement to give to Michelle! So sweet. Hair and Makeup I Do did their amazing beauty magic and made all the girls even more beautiful (if that is possible!)

Michelle and Pierre's daughter was there and boy was she cute and totally hammed it up with the camera. These are some of the most precious pictures. This was my second time working with Michelle Lawson Photography - they are absolutely wonderful. One of the only photographers that doesn't specify hours on the day of - they are there for your whole day!

How about this tiara! I also wore a tiara at my wedding - but I only had it for the reception part. How can you be a Disney Princess without a tiara, right?

The guys showed up in style with this beautiful sports car. Of course we had to get some bad ass poses with it.

Blue was the wedding color for this spectacular day. You will see that throughout the pictures which made for a cohesive décor design. We did the first look at the Waterstone. This is one of the 1000000 of reasons I love doing first look. Michelle was really nervous and the second she saw Pierre all nerves went away and then they got to enjoy their day together! Plus Michelle Lawson got some epic pictures of them. When you do a first look, your pictures don't have to be rushed so you can get some AMAZING shots.

The ceremony was held underneath the Addison's famous banyan trees. Honestly the pictures speak for themselves. The Addison is a beautiful location to hold your wedding.

Right after first look, we headed right to the Addison for more photos.

Cocktail Hour was in the courtyard behind the banyan trees. The couple is very into juicing so they hired Raw Juice to come out and have shots of juice. Great option for those health conscious people. Also at each spot at the reception, we did a juice shot for the toasts. Very customized to the couple. I loved it.

The couple are avid travelers and their place card display was with luggage tags and the table names were places they had been together with pictures.

They bought items to create a kids corner and hired a babysitter to watch and entertain the kiddos - which was awesome for all the parents.

The décor in the room was breathtaking - Dalsimer Atlas created the centerpieces based off the bride's description. The up lighting in the room completely transformed it! If there is one thing you should do to elevate your décor, it is up lighting. The couple did a room reveal and jaws dropped!

The rest of the night was filled with smiles, dancing and lots of celebrating! It was such a pleasure to be a part of this day back on January 22, 2021. We still follow each other on instagram and keep up with each others lives. She was so kind and sent me a great Hakuna Matata long sleeve shirt. Creating life long bonds with my couples is one of my favorite parts of my job.

The Addison has amazing food and is truly a wedding factory. Even though they do say they have wedding planners for your day, those planners are still working for the venue. Remember that we work for YOU. So we always have your best interests at heart. That's why even if there is a venue coordinator, we definitely suggest you still hire yourself a month of/day of planner in Palm Beach. I'd be happy to chat with you on the phone as to what the differences are between venue coordinators and what we do. For example, I packed up all their personal items and décor and put them in my car then drove over to their house a few days later to drop everything off. They didn't have to worry about getting their stuff out of the Addison or how to get it back to their hotel room or home. That is a service we provide that your venue won't.

Again, you can't have a successful wedding day without the best vendors and these are some of the best in the business:
