A common question we get is why do you have to have an assistant on the day of? The easy answer is because I can't be in two places at once. There are so many moving parts during a wedding day that having two people on the day is absolutely necessary.
Here are a few reasons why:
- First Look/Walk down the aisle - I am with the bride, while my assistant is with the husband. We are communicating with each other via walkie talkies to make sure that the groom doesn't see the bride before.
- Errands - the couple needs more champagne or they forgot something at the hotel or home, my assistant runs to go get it, while I am still on property.
- Reception Room - while I am with the couple during getting ready and ceremony, the assistant is meeting vendors in the room or setting up your personal touches.
- Bridal Party Wranglers - while I am grabbing the ladies, my assistant is grabbing the guys - making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be.
My assistant is full trained by me and we have a long meeting before our events/weddings to go through every detail. So you can be assured that you and your event are in good hands!
