The story of how they met...
In April of 2016, Tristan was attending the Wellington Flavors Event on a Friday night. Flavors is a local food tasting and networking event through the Wellington Chamber. Ashley's neighbor Andrea had a booth at the event with the cookie company she was working with. So Andrea was passing out cookie samples and saw Tristan who was walking around with his uncle Steve. Steve stopped at the booth to get a sample, Tristan kept walking and Andrea asked Steve if Tristan was single. Steve told Andrea that Tristan was in fact single so she called Tristan back to the booth. Andrea was saying how she had a beautiful single niece she wanted to introduce Tristan to. She showed him a picture real quick and said email me if you are interested and I'll give you info. Tristan said yes I'm single but was very skeptical anything would really come of it.
So Sunday night came around, Tristan thought Ashley was really cute so he emailed Andrea hoping to get a blind date. Tristan emailed Andrea saying, hey it's Tristan from the flavors event, here's my number in case Ashley is interested. Neither Tristan or Ashley had ever been on a blind date and at this point Ashley still had no knowledge of any of this. Andrea actually received the email Sunday night while she happened to be out with Ashley. When the email came through she just figured it was an work email but when she opened it, she laughed and told Ashley she had a funny story for her. So Andrea explained what had happened at the Flavors event and showed her the email. Ashley was like, well I'm not contacting him but you can give him my number if you want. So Andrea emails Tristan her number and that night they started texting. A few days later, Ashley and Tristan met up at Stonewood
Restaurant in Wellington for their first date and the rest is history.
They had a beautiful wedding at the PGA National Resort & Spa. There was a bit of a sprinkle - but left us with a beautiful rainbow. Take a look at some of the gorgeous photos by Poirier Wedding Photography.
