Things you may forget

There are few things that I have noticed that bride and grooms don't tend to think about because it's not on lists of things to do - or it's such a small detail, but on the day of, ends up being a big whoops didn't think about that.

1. Food for the Morning of

- Every single bride who I mention this to goes "oh yeah" - then they either set up delivery or I will go pick up sandwich platter etc. and deliver to the ladies and the gents. It's very important to eat the morning of your wedding so you don't faint!

2. Luggage

- If you are staying somewhere other than your home for your wedding night, don't forget to pack your over night luggage and have your planner or someone drop it off to your hotel! If you are getting ready in your hotel room, make sure someone brings your grooms items to your room after he is through getting ready.

3. End of Night Location

- Where you want your personal items, cards and gifts stored away. You will be exhausted at the end of the night and if you don't have a planner, you should designate a person to collect these personal items and arrange a location to place everything prior to your wedding day.

4. Tips

- It is customary to tip your wedding vendors - ie. caterers, band, drivers, etc. Your wedding planner or person that you designate if you didn't hire a day of, can take the tip envelopes and hand them out at the end of the night. A lot of times this little detail can get forgotten.

Those are just a few things. The great thing about hiring a day of coordinator is that we are actually your month of helper. When we have our meeting about a month away from your date, you will leave with a to-do list of things you never thought about before. These are things that will help make your day run smoother!
